Troye Sivan – Youth Music Video OUT NOW!!

 

Blue Neighbourhood video trilogy has just ended, and hot off of New Music Friday is the next single off of the upcoming album Blue Neighbourhood: “Youth”. Now I, like most, are head over heels in love with Troye Sivan. Whether or not you think he’s particularly adorable as a person, his music is absolutely phenomenal. His recent EP – the likes of which make up the first six tracks off of the album – went to number one almost immediately upon release and every song is pure magic.

So, it’s not surprising to say that his newest single is anything shorter than brilliant, right? Right. The song is absolutely wonderful. I love the production, the sing-a-long anthem of a chorus, and that intense beat drop that deserves to end a concert; followed by fireworks and a screaming crowd. This whole album has been spotless so far. I haven’t seen one screw-up or mishap when it comes to the music. Troye is really proving himself on this debut album. I can’t wait to hear the full thing on the 4th of December.

Sadly, he has had to cancel his shows in both Sydney and in Perth due to becoming ill. He had contracted laryngitis earlier in the tour and continued to sing with it, thus making it severe. He will recover and hopefully return to his tour, but as of now he remains on medications and rest. But in all of the sickness, we’ve never felt so youthful and it’s all thanks to Troye Sivan.
